Puerto Prinsesa, Palawan - June 2009

Our very first team building trip at GAHAR-Enclave was in Puerto Prinsesa.  All expense paid by the company along with GA-Leasing Team.

Everyone was anxious for the said trip.  We have prayed for a fair weather and it was given to us.  Most of our team members are first-timers on plane ride.  You could see the great joy on their faces.

Upon arrival at Puerto Prinsesa, we have checked in and proceeded to Kalui - a must try restaurant in Puerto Prinsesa.  The food exceeded our expectations and it was very affordable.

The following day, we got up early to catch the limited time access of the Underground River.  It is a long rough ride to the Port which is more than an hour.  Then the ferry ride took us to Sabang, where the underground river is located.

We were lucky enough to access the boat ride to the underground river as it was closed in the recent days due to heavy rains.

It was a long que but worth waiting...lots of picture taking.... chit chat and the expedition began.... such a thrill!  Inside the cave is majestic, i wasn't able to take lots of photos as it was dark and bats are scared of flash so we rather enjoyed the time we were there rather than be disturbed by the bats flying on top of our heads :)

After the boat ride, we had a sumptuous lunch at the Port with fresh buco juice and bought some souvenirs.

We headed back to the city to buy pasalubongs - cheap cashew nuts, t-shirts, pins, dried fish and a lot more.

Just like in Vigan, the city is clean and people are disciplined... if only all places in Philippines were like Vigan and Puerto Prinsesa... i love Puerto Prinsesa and i hope i will get to visit Coron, Palawan in the coming years.

We had our dinner at Badjao Seafood Restaurant...

We also visited the crocodile farm, Baker's Hill and a lot more... it was my first time to embrace a baby crocodile.  I have a picture of it :)

The trip was exhilarating and worth every penny.  Great thanks to Sir DL for his generosity in sending us to this beautiful city.
